Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my blog…I posted a brief video earlier today about a key that really works to fill your heart and mind with peace instead of fear, especially with recent events. There is so much negative and scary news in the world today…yes, these are times to be aware and praying but if we aren’t careful we can also be overwhelmed by the negative and it can have affects on us physically, emotionally and spiritually. (see video at this link)
The key that works for me is to be still and let a song or even a simple instrumental melody begin to fill my mind and heart. I love to sit at the piano, play spontaneously and sometimes sing a song too. I begin to feel God’s peace and all my fears or anxieties begin to dissolve in the background. Music is a very powerful tool, perhaps one of the most powerful tools we have as human beings. It can be used for both positive influences or negative ones. We can use the songs God gives us to bring joy, healing and peace to ourselves and to others. I believe EVERYONE can learn to play a simple song on the piano, or sing or even write a song. We’ve all heard “don’t let the music die in you’…well I also want to share “don’t die with the music still in you!”
I am excited to share that I will be announcing a fun and great way for YOU to learn to play piano or create a melody. I know I am speaking to many of you who probably have always wanted to learn to play an instrument, or perhaps you feel like you don’t have the talent to sing or to play. But I am here to tell you “don’t let the music die in you and don’t die with the music still in you!”
Be encouraged today! If you are alive and breathing, reading this or watching the video link, then I am confident God has a great destiny ahead for you! Remember to fill your heart and mind with peace, joy and love and use the tool I am giving you with music.
Please go ahead and click over to my website www.lisamitts.com, download some of music and then write me and share how it is impacting you! Maybe you are writing a song now and one of my songs is influencing or encouraging you…let me know! Let’s keep in touch.
